Released in North America in 1994 for the Sega Genesis by Bullet-Proof Software, WildSnake is a fascinatingly bizarre puzzle game originally conceptualized by Alexey Pajitnov, the legendary creator of Tetris. Unlike traditional block-dropping titles, this game introduces a slithering, serpentine twist to the falling-puzzle genre. The game lacks a traditional narrative, replacing storyline tropes with an eerie, hypnotic atmosphere defined by desert vistas and the rattling cadence of falling reptiles.
