Dr. Clayborn and his henchmen have taken control of the city and Commissioner Gordon (no, Batman is not in the game) made one last plea for help and called three of New York’s Finest undercover cops : Bubba, an ex-professional football player; Flame, a former Miss America; and Claude, a retired philosophy teacher. They must fight every lackey and vanquish Dr. Clayborn in order to restore law and order to the city. Very fun beat-em-up where almost anything can be used as a weapon; fish, rocks, i-beams, cars, etc.

The Alpha Renewal version is the world and USA English language uncensored version of the arcade game.

Each character boasts completely distinct movesets, attack ranges, and devastating super moves that drain a portion of the health bar. The core mechanics elevate standard button-mashing by introducing a robust object-interaction system: players can rip steel girders out of the ground, hurl motorcycles, pick up enemies as bludgeons, and even chuck dangerous explosive barrels. The level design brilliantly integrates platforming elements, hazardous terrain, and screen hazards like charging beasts and falling debris. With diverse boss encounters at the end of every stage and relentless enemy waves demanding precise dodging and crowd control, *Undercover Cops* delivers an intense, deeply satisfying cooperative slugfest from start to finish.
