Gameplay Features & Mechanics

The gameplay of *Gee Bee* revolves around a vertical screen layout dominated by a central pinball-style playfield filled with bumpers, targets, and obstacles. The player controls up to three sets of paddles—positioned at the bottom, middle, and top of the screen—using them simultaneously to keep a bouncing ball in play and deflect it upward into a dense grid of scoring blocks and bumpers. Unlike traditional bat-and-ball games, *Gee Bee* incorporates distinct pinball elements such as rollover lanes, kickers, and a plunger-style launch mechanism at the start of each ball. Points accumulate rapidly as the ball triggers sound-heavy electronic chimes and lights up various sections of the playfield. Players must carefully manage the multi-tier paddle system to prevent the ball from draining past the lowest paddle, utilizing careful angles and rebound physics to maximize their score before running out of lives.
