Super Chase: Criminal Termination is an arcade racing game, released in 1992 by Taito. It is the third release in the Chase H.Q. arcade series, and the sequel to Special Criminal Investigation.

It also was the first in the Chase H.Q. series to have the protagonist command the car from a first-person view, and have different vehicles available to drive. Nancy, the dispatcher from Chase H.Q. returns, this time, on a videoscreen inside the car before the start of the stage.

Gameplay Features & Mechanics

You pilot a customized, turbo-charged police cruiser against the clock, dodging civilian traffic, navigating sharp turns, and weaving through barricades. Your primary objective is to catch up to the designated target vehicle and deplete its health bar before the countdown reaches zero. To accomplish this, players can ram the target directly, unleash a limited supply of high-impact ramming attacks, or fire mounted weaponry depending on the power-ups collected along the route. The game features four distinct stages, each culminating in a chaotic boss encounter where syndicate bosses retaliate by dropping mines, shooting back, or employing heavy armored trucks to block your path. Successfully executing a 'Criminal Termination' rewards the player with extended time and advances the gritty storyline toward the final showdown.
